Poll Worker Training

Harrison County Election Workers are required to participate in an in-person training session and also complete Online Poll Worker Training provided by the Texas Secretary of State for each election.

Eligibility Requirements for Election Judges and Clerks – Election Code Chapter 32 , Subchapter C

Training Dates and Times for the 2018 March 6th Primary Election

Multiple sessions are available for in-person training, Pick One:
Thursday, February 15, 2018
    9:00 a.m.
    5:30 p.m.

Friday, February 16, 2018
    9:00 a.m.
    1:00 p.m.

Please contact the Elections Office to reserve a seat and confirm a session.

Duration – In-person training sessions last approximately 2 hours.

Location – Harrison County Elections Office, 415 E. Burleson Street in Marshall

The completion of online training prior to in-person training is highly recommended.
