Poll Worker Training

Interested in becoming an Election Worker? Please submit an application to the Elections Office.

Harrison County Election Workers are required to participate in an in-person training session and also complete Online Poll Worker Training provided by the Texas Secretary of State for each election.

Poll Workers must self-register into the system by signing up for the course. To sign-up, you must select and enter a:
-County Location (HARRISON)
-First and Last Name
-Email Address
-Username
-Password

Once registered, you will be prompted to login using the newly created user name and password, and will have immediate access to the training.

If you registered for a training course in the fall of 2016 or later, your user name and password will be the same.

Eligibility Requirements for Election Judges and Clerks – Election Code Chapter 32 , Subchapter C

Duration – In-person training sessions last approximately 2 hours.

Location – Harrison County Elections Office, 415 E. Burleson Street in Marshall

The completion of online training prior to in-person training is highly recommended.
